Biography:
Sherry-Rose is a young woman passionate about the social, political and economic empowerment of women and girls worldwide.
Personal Information:
She studies International Relations at La Trobe University and is actively engaged in discourse around global politics, global sustainable development, women in leadership and representation. She spends much of her time immersed in the world of social enterprise, youth advocacy and community development. At present, Sherry-Rose is a Youth Associate with Parliament of Victoria and a Senior Associate at the Foundation for Young Australians, YLab. Sherry-Rose is also the founder of the social enterprise Woman Girl, an organisation that seeks to empower young women by creating greater access to opportunities for personal and professional development. She enjoys learning from and collaborating with experts and other like minded young people interested in global affairs and creating social impact. Her ambition is to work on and lead national and global innovative social impact projects on various topic areas including women’s empowerment and sustainable community development.
